How we operate

Since we first visited Nyanga – Gugulethu Township in 2004 we have provided ongoing financial support and development by ensuring that all private funds donated are very carefully accounted for as a result of our connections with the major vitamin producing company Vital Health Foods (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town. They act as the “secure arm” in ensuring that funds for all the projects we support in South Africa are professionally handled and authorised by us before being released at the appropriate time.

Peninsula Feeding Program logo

100% of all funds raised and donated are used for the projects. There are no “overheads” as we rely totally on the help of local friends who live in Cape Town who introduced us to the projects we decided to support and develop.

These include Paul Phillipson and his family. Paul is the head of Western Province Amateur Cricket Coaching in South Africa and played at a high county cricket level for Sussex CC and England. He frequently visits the projects on our behalf to help in monitoring their progress.

Our efforts include dealing with correspondence with local government departments in the hope of encouraging government assistance and other private associations to offer support.

These currently include Khanya Technology Education and The Peninsula Feeding program. We sincerely thank all those that continue to provide a better future for the children we aim to help.

Townshiphelp projects are not exclusive to South Africa and we welcome any enquiries from those who may seek our advice or assistance.
